Hello!
This log will cover the plan for the beta version of the game.
I've decided to include unique damage models / variables in the beta version. It only makes sense that if I'm going to create different enemies, I should also include unique health, speed and attack variables. Because of this inclusion, I've moved the multiple weapons mechanic to the release build.
From my own testing, the current map is too small. I'll create a larger one with more spawn points. I also plan to improve the wave spawning mechanic. Currently, it takes 500+ lines of code for it to work. I'm going to try and reduce the amount of code needed while still maintaining the feature. If possible, I will make it modular and easily expandable.
I've added these tasks to my planner as well.
The first thing I will work on will be improving wave spawning. I look forward to the challenge it presents.
